Symbiotic AI LLC sells flat monthly subscriptions to Cilia plugins. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, who handles refunds on our behalf under this policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms (https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms).
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your subscription stays active through the end of the current paid period, after which the license expires automatically. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund of the current period.
Refunds
- 14-day money-back guarantee «operator confirms window»: if you're unsatisfied, request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase of a plugin subscription for a full refund of that charge.
- Renewals: monthly renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the new period begins, since you can cancel beforehand to avoid renewal. We consider good-faith exceptions (e.g., accidental renewal reported promptly) case by case.
- Free tier and the open-source core involve no charge and so no refund.
How to request
Email admin@symbiotic.ai or use the support link on your Paddle receipt, with your account email and order reference. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method; timing depends on your bank/card issuer.
Taxes
As Merchant of Record, Paddle handles applicable taxes; refunds are processed accordingly.
